The Al Badeia Stud Farm is a garden paradise, located on the edge of the Egyptian Desert in full view of the Great Pyramids of Giza.  Their towering presence over the farm  lends a special aura to the surroundings. 

Barns are spacious and cheerful.   Each barn and paddock are surrounded by  lush blooming flowers and trees.  Rose gardens line walkways, and large, tropical foliage cools the desert heat.  Fragrant Poinsiana trees provide an umbrella of shade and beauty throughout the farm.

Nasr, Nasr Marei, Abdullah

Teamwork has always been a part of the success of Al Badeia Stud.   Dr. Nasr Marei poses with two generations of horsemen.  Abdullah has been head groom at Al Badeia since he was a young man.  His son, also named Nasr, has followed in his fathers footsteps, taking his love for horses one step further.  Nasr is head trainer and has beautifully shown the Al Badeia horses to National Championships. 
Happiest when he is with his animals, Dr. Nasr Marei visits with the lovely Al Badeia mares, Aneesat and Walaa, while friend "Buddy" looks on..

The Al Badeia mares and foals enjoy a run in the spacious paddocks.

Al Badeia has always been a strong presence at horse shows.  Alway first class, each horse comes with their own groom, and historically leaves with the blue.
